Plectonotoides gaspensis
Taxonomy
Bellerophon (Plectonotus) gaspensis was named by Clarke (1908) [Bellerophon (Plectonotus?) gaspensis Clarke 1908]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Grand Grève, which is in a Pragian carbonate limestone in the Grande Greve Formation of Canada.
It was recombined as Plectonotus gaspensis by Boucot and Yochelson (1966); it was recombined as Plectonotoides gaspensis by Boucot et al. (1986) and Wagner (2023).
