Baylea delawarensis
Taxonomy
Pleurotomaria delawarensis was named by Girty (1908) [Pleurotomaria? delawarensis Girty 1908]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 2931 green, Guadalupe Canyon, Guadalupe Mountains, which is in a Roadian slope limestone in the Cherry Canyon Formation of Texas.
It was recombined as Baylea delawarensis by Kulas and Batten (1997) and Wagner (2023).
