Taxonomy
Pleurotomaria regulosa was named by Perner (1903) [Barrande in Perner 1903]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lochkov, which is in a Sheinwoodian carbonate limestone in the Liten Formation of the Czech Republic.
It was recombined as Pleurotomaria (Ptychomphalina) regulosa by Perner (1907); it was recombined as Ptychomphalina regulosa by Wagner (2023).
