Taxonomy
Polytropis ingenua was named by Perner (1903) [Barrande in Perner 1903]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kozel, near Beroun, which is in a Gorstian carbonate limestone in the Kopanina Formation of the Czech Republic.
It was recombined as Oriostoma ingenua by Wagner (2023).
