Apotocardium cordatum
Taxonomy
Pseudoconocardium cordatum was named by Hoare et al. (1982). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is UTBEG 153-T-6, San Saba highway, 5.6 km east and 1.4 km south of Rochelle, which is in a Moscovian marine shale in the Smithwick Formation of Texas.
It was recombined as Apotocardium cordatum by Hoare et al. (2002) and Wagner (2023).
