Boiotremus fortis
Taxonomy
Tremanotus fortis was named by Frech (1894). It is not extant. Its type locality is Black Gastropod Chalk, Wolayer Thörl, Carnic Alps, which is in a Pragian carbonate limestone in the Schwarz Gastropoden-Kalk Formation of Austria. It is the type species of Boiotremus.
It was recombined as Boiotremus fortis by Horný (1963), Jhaveri (1969), Peel (1991) and Wagner (2023).
