ReferenceDiagnosis
D. M. Rohr 1996Low-spired (115˚), gradate, narrowly phaneromphalous with carina at whorl shoulder; raised selenizone above midwhorl, lower-outer angulation with short frill; circumumbilical cord.

Apical angle about 115˚, narrowly phaneromphalous, gradate shell with maximum diameter of about 3 cm; short frill at lower-outer edge of early whorls which becomes smaller in later growth stages; whorl embraces previous whorl just below frill forming either a shallow canal or narrow ramp which is bordered by carina; below carina, shell surface is flat and dips about 40 degrees to flat, raised selenizone located above midwhorl; below selenizone, slightly concave whorl surface dips to frill at lower-outer edge; spiral cord on convex base of whorl; labral edge strongly prosocline and opisthocyrt from base of whorl to frill, then curving convexly back to selenizone to form wide notch; depth of slit unknown; columellar lip and outer lip thickened.
