Turbonitella biserialis
Taxonomy
Turbo biserialis was named by Phillips (1836). It is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Turbonitella.
It was recombined as Littorina biserialis by de Koninck (1844) and Murchison et al. (1845); it was recombined as Turbonitella biserialis by de Koninck (1881), Cossmann (1915), Linsley (1968), Gromczakiewicz-Łomnicka (1973), Gordon and Yochelson (1983), Pan (1997), Heidelberger (2001) and Wagner (2023).
It was recombined as Littorina biserialis by de Koninck (1844) and Murchison et al. (1845); it was recombined as Turbonitella biserialis by de Koninck (1881), Cossmann (1915), Linsley (1968), Gromczakiewicz-Łomnicka (1973), Gordon and Yochelson (1983), Pan (1997), Heidelberger (2001) and Wagner (2023).
