Taxonomy
Dictyotomaria carlbransoni was named by Gordon and Yochelson (1975) [Ptychomphalus wortheni of C. Branson 1937, not Weller]. It is not extant. Its type locality is UM 2641-6832. Little Popo Argie River, Wild River Range, which is in an Arnsbergian offshore shale/limestone in the Amsden Formation of Wyoming.
