Mapes 1985Medium-sized polyplacoph- orans (about 5.5 mm long) ornamented with medium to coarse granules and coarse growth lamellae on all valves; intermediate valves swept forward in shape with a prominent ju- gal sinus; tail valve broadly subpentagonal in shape with mucro posterior to midlength; posterior margin arched; sutural laminae nar- row and bluntly pointed.
