Sarcosaurus woodi

Taxonomy
Sarcosaurus woodi was named by Andrews (1921). Its type specimen is BMNH 4840/1, a set of postcrania, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Barrow-on-Soar, which is in a Sinemurian marine horizon in the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Sarcosaurus.

It was considered a nomen dubium by Naish and Martill (2007).
