It was assigned to Enteletacea by Bassett and Cocks (1974) and Hints (1975); to Orthida by Isaacson et al. (1976); to Rhipidomellida by Kotlyar et al. (2004); and to Dalmanelloidea by Williams et al. (2000), Boucot et al. (2008), Rubel (2011) and Hints (2012).
