Noriaster barberoi
Taxonomy
Noriaster barberoi was named by Blake et al. (2000). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Paleontological Museum of Università degli Studi di Milano, Holotype MPUM 8420. Its type locality is Asteroidea, Zorzino limestones, Norian, Endenna site, Zogno, which is in a Norian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Dolomia Principale Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Noriaster.
