Turritella conquistadorana
Taxonomy
Turritella conquistadorana was named by Hanna and Israelsky (1925). Its type specimen is CAS 1707, a partial shell (5.1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS Loc. 850, Quebrada Mancora [Negritos Fm], which is in an Eocene marine horizon in the Negritos Formation of Peru.
