Trachoolithus faticanus
Taxonomy
Trachoolithus faticanus was named by Mikhailov (1994). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is PIN 4227-3 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Builjasutuin-Khuduk [SMPE] (PIN coll. 4227), which is in an Aptian lacustrine claystone/claystone in the Döshuul Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Trachoolithus.
