Monticulastraea insignis
Taxonomy
Monticulastraea insignis was named by Duncan (1880). It is not extant. Its type locality is Magar Pir, Karachi, Sind, Pakistan, which is in a Burdigalian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone/sandstone in Pakistan.
It was recombined as Hydnophora insignis by Bosellini et al. (1987).
