Taxonomy
Hemieuryale argoviensis was named by Hess (1966). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Museum of Basel, Hess collection, B150. Its type locality is Echinodermata, Argovian, Guldenthal, Kt. Solothurn, which is in an Oxfordian offshore claystone in Switzerland.
