It was reranked as Cadulus (Polyschides) by Pilsbry and Olsson (1941) and Gardner (1947).

It was assigned to Cadulus by Pilsbry and Olsson (1941) and Gardner (1947); to Gadilidae by Wells and Houston (2001); to Scaphopoda by Sepkoski (2002); and to Siphonodentaliinae by Reynolds and Steiner (2008).
