Ophiura astonensis
Taxonomy
Ophiura astonensis was named by Hess (1964). It is not extant. Its type locality is Ophiuroidea, Pliensbachian, Aston Magna, Gloucestershire, UK, which is in a Pliensbachian deep subtidal shelf marl in the Middle Lias Formation of the United Kingdom.
