Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
D. B. Blake and W. J. Zinsmeister 1979A large Ctenophoraster species bearing a single prominent spine on each superomarginal, the remainder of the ossicle covered by stout spinelets. Paxillae arranged in regular rows of approximately 16 ossicles across the arm near the base, with paxillary pedicellariae probably absent. Inferomarginals probably absent. Inferomarginals probably with 3 lateral and 2 actinal surface spine rows. Actinolaterals relatively few beyong row adjacent to furrow, approximately 10 in a specimen of r (estimated) = 12mm. Ambulacral lacks progress for muscle band extending between superambulacral and dorsal adradial ends of ambulacral.
