Heilprinia caloosaensis

Taxonomy
Fusus caloosaensis was named by Heilprin (1887). It is not a trace fossil. It is the type species of Heilprinia.

It was recombined as Fusinus (Heilprinia) caloosaensis by DuBar (1958); it was recombined as Heilprinia caloosaensis by Woodring (1964) and Ward and Blackwelder (1987).
