Onychochilus

Taxonomy
Onychochilus was named by Lindström (1884) [Sepkoski's age data: S Wenl-l D Gedi Sepkoski's reference number: 797]. It is not extant. Its type is Onychochilus physa. It is the type genus of Onychochilinae.

It was assigned to Onychochilidae by Koken and Perner (1925), Knight et al. (1960) and Linsley and Kier (1984); to Hyperstrophina by Sepkoski (2002); and to Onychochilinae by Bouchet et al. (2005).
