Steneosaurus rostrominor
Taxonomy
Steneosaurus rostrominor was named by Saint-Hilaire (1825). It is not extant. Its type locality is Vaches Noires, near Honfleur, which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian marine marl in France.
It was recombined as Metriorhynchus rostrominor by Meyer (1832); it was synonymized subjectively with Dacosaurus maximus by Sauvage (1873).
