Nannamoria paraboloides was named by Darragh (1989) [TYPE LOCALITY: Spring Creek Homestead, Minhamite, Victoria. AGE RANGE: Cheltenhamian (Late Miocene-Late Pliocene)]. Its type specimen is P33077 and is not a trace fossil.
