Taxonomy
Anomalocalyx cawoodi was named by Brock (1999). Its type locality is Unit 1, Murrawong Creek Section, which is in a Floran/Undillan submarine fan conglomerate in the Murrawong Creek Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Anomalocalyx.
