Nymphaster fontis
Taxonomy
Nymphaster fontis was named by Breton and Vizcaïno (1997). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Holotype MHNH 8942, paratypes MHNH 8943-8947. Its type locality is Middle Ilerdien, Fontcouverte, Aude, which is in a Ypresian offshore marl in the Marnes de Foncouverte Formation of France. It was considered monophyletic by Breton and Vizcaïno (1997).
