J. Mercier 1935Overall shape of the plates quite similar to that of P. magnificus and P. crassus from the Late Cretaceous, but of a smaller size. Profile of the plate cuneiform, the upper face being dome shaped and drawing a broken arch. Internal face joining diagonally the concave lower face. Lateral faces concave medially, with fine punctuation. Margins underlined by a thick draught. Outer face covered by scarce granulation letting a smooth margin of varying width. Terminal plate of relatively large size, inflated, the lower face indented by a deep groove.
