Taxonomy
Didymograptus fasciculatus was named by Nicholson (1869). It is the type species of Nicholsonograptus.
It was recombined as Azygograptus fasciculatus by Ekstrom (1937) and Skwarko (1962); it was recombined as Nicholsonograptus fasciculatus by Boucek and Pribyl (1951) and Maletz (1997).
