Mastaster villersensis

Taxonomy
Mastaster villersensis was named by Mercier (1935). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Muséum d'Histoire Naturelle of Le Havre, Neotype MHNH 2247 A. It is the type species of Mastaster.

It was recombined as Phocidaster villersensis by Mercier (1936); it was recombined as Calliderma (Mastaster) villersensis by Wright and Wright (1940).
