Antisolarium was named by Finlay (1927) [Sepkoski's age data: T Mi-l-l R Sepkoski's reference number: 681]. It is extant.

It was assigned to Umboniinae by Stilwell and Zinsmeister (1992); to Archaeogastropoda by Sepkoski (2002); and to Trochidae by Finlay (1927) and Bieler and Petit (2005).
