Lyrischapa harrisi
Taxonomy
Lyrischapa harrisi was named by Aldrich (1911) [TYPE LOCALITY: Quitman, Mississippi (Lower Claiborne, Eocene). TYPE REPOSITORY: Presumably PRI, New York.]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is PRI 2253, 3.5 miles south of Quitman, which is in a Bartonian marine horizon in the Cook Mountain Formation of Mississippi.
