Taxonomy
Coelurosaurichnus kronbergeri was named by Rehnelt (1959). It is considered to be a form taxon. It is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Bamberg, middle Franconia, which is in a Carnian terrestrial sandstone in the Benkersandstein Formation of Germany.
It was synonymized subjectively with Chirotherium postchirotherioides by Klein and Lucas (2021).
