Bicarina was named by Jhaveri (1969) [Sepkoski's age data: D Sieg D Eife-u Sepkoski's reference number: 797,1004]. It is not extant. Its type is Straparollus coluber.

It was assigned to Euomphalidae by Jhaveri (1969); to Archaeogastropoda by Sepkoski (2002); and to Coelozoninae by Wagner (2023).
