Taxonomy
Yoldia nana was named by Sars (1865) [DISTRIBUTION: Pliocene-Recent; Panarctic and circumpolar, Alaska-California, Mediterranean; Alaska.]. It is extant.

It was recombined as Yoldiella nana by Coan et al. (2000) and Hendy et al. (2008).

  • Yoldiella fraterna was named by Verrill and Bush (1898) [HISTORY: Synonym of Yoldia nana Sars 1865 [Coan et al. 2000].]. It is extant.

    It was recombined as Yoldia fraterna by Matthews (1967); it was synonymized subjectively with Yoldia nana by Coan et al. (2000).
