Spissatella media
Taxonomy
Eucrassatella media was named by Marwick (1926) [TYPE LOCALITY: Lorne, Oamaru, Canterbury, South Island, New Zeland (Kaiatan = Priabonian). TYPE REPOSITORY: GSNZ (now GNS Science, Lower Hutt, New Zealand).]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lorne, which is in a Kaiatan marine tuff in the Waiareka tuff Formation of New Zealand.
It was recombined as Spissatella media by Fleming (1966) and Beu et al. (1990).
