Telicomys amazonensis
Taxonomy
Telicomys amazonensis was named by Frailey (1986). Its type specimen is LACM 117523, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LACM 4418, which is in a Miocene fluvial-lacustrine mudstone in the Solimões Formation of Brazil.
