Diagnosis

---|---|---|
J. M. Pandolfi 1985 | Corallites are commonly between 4.0 and 5.0 mm in diameter. The corallites are predominantly arranged in biserial ranks that may form large aggluti nated patches where they intersect. The tabulae are strongly sinuous with their center and edges depressed. There are commonly 12-14 tabulae in 10 mm. Major septa extend between ½ and ¾ the distance to the corallite axis and may or may not be fused at their tips. Where fusion ofmajor septa occurs, their tips join in groups of 2 or 3. An axial depression is always clearly evident. Minor septa, where present, are short and wedge-shaped and are up to 1/6 the length of the major septa. |
