Arcochiton soccus
Taxonomy
Arcochiton soccus was named by Hanger et al. (2000). Its type specimen is USNM 501897, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Coyote Butte, which is in a Wolfcampian/Leonardian offshore shelf limestone in the Coyote Butte Limestone Formation of Oregon.
