It was assigned to Parksosauridae by Buchholz (2002); to Iguanodontia by Martínez and Novas (2006); to Euornithopoda by Norman et al. (2004) and Galton (2009); to Ornithopoda by Ibiricu et al. (2014); to Hypsilophodontidae by Martínez (1998) and Alifanov and Saveliev (2014); and to Thescelosaurinae by Madzia et al. (2018).
