Leptoptygma laetus
Taxonomy
Leptoptygma laetus was named by Pan and Erwin (2002) [resembles L. virgatum and L. golconda]. Its type specimen is USNM 127685, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Matan M40, Heshan, which is in a Changhsingian carbonate limestone in the Heshan Formation of China.
