Auriptygma fenestrata

Taxonomy
Macrochilina fenestrata was named by Lindström (1884). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Samsugns C, in Othem, which is in a Sheinwoodian deep subtidal ramp limestone/marl in the Slite Beds Formation of Sweden.

It was recombined as Meekospira fenestrata by Ulrich and Scofield (1897); it was recombined as Auriptygma fenestrata by Wagner (2023).
