Taxonomy
Amathusia angulata was named by Philippi (1887). It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Lahillia (Lahillia) angulata by Frassinetti and Covacevich (1993); it was recombined as Lahillia angulata by Ihering (1907), Griffin (1991), Chiesa et al. (1995) and Stilwell et al. (2004).
