Glyptospira cingulata
Taxonomy
Glyptospira cingulata was named by Erwin (1988). Its type specimen is USNM 419303, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is AMNH46, Apache Canyon, Sierra Diablo, which is in a Kungurian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Bone Spring Formation of Texas.
