Taxonomy
Pseudoristola horni was named by O'Dogherty et al. (2006). Its type specimen is LO16755. Its type locality is VS 3, Vorderi Schneit outcrop, Perrières series, Gets Nappe, Alps, which is in a Bathonian basinal (siliciclastic) chert in Switzerland.
