Labrocuspis was named by Heidecker (1959) [Sepkoski's age data: D Give Sepkoski's reference number: 362]. It is not extant. Its type is Labrocuspis nodosa.
It was assigned to Euomphalidae by Linsley and Kier (1984); to Archaeogastropoda by Sepkoski (2002); and to Omphalotrochidae by Kase (1989), Cook and Camilleri (1997) and Wagner (2023).
