Nuculites ichikawai

Taxonomy
Nuculites ichikawai was named by Nakazawa and Newell (1968) [Type. —Holotype (UK, not registered, Nakazawa and Newell, 1968, pl. 1, fig, 1) from the Katsura Formation at Katsura, Sakawa-cho, Takaoka-gun, Kochi Prefecture. (stage unknown).]. It is a mold. Its type locality is Katsura, Kochi Prefecture, which is in a Changhsingian marine sandstone in the Katsura Formation of Japan.
