Eiffelia araniformis
Taxonomy
Lenastella araniformis was named by Missarzhevsky and Mambetov (1981) [Missarzhevsky in Missarzhevsky and Mambetov 1981]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Aktugay, bed 7, which is in an Atdabanian marine dolomite/sandstone in the Shabakty Formation of Kazakhstan.
It was recombined as Eiffelia araniformis by Bengtson et al. (1990) and Skovsted (2006).
