Taxonomy
Leptoscaptor robustior was named by Ziegler (2003). It is not extant. Its type specimen is NHMA P35-58/6, humerus dext., a set of limb elements. Its type locality is Petersbuch 35, which is in a MN 7 + 8 fissure fill horizon in Germany.
