Dinocephalosaurus orientalis
Taxonomy
Dinocephalosaurus orientalis was named by Li (2003). Its type specimen is IVPP V 13767, a skull (Nearly complete skull with some cervical vertebrae), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Xinmin, Panxian County (IVPP), which is in a Pelsonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Guanling Formation of China. It is the type species of Dinocephalosaurus.
