Sinodelphys szalayi

Taxonomy
Sinodelphys szalayi was named by Luo et al. (2003). Its type specimen is CAGS00-IG03, a skeleton (slightly incomplete, flattened skeleton with some preserved soft tissues), and it is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Dawangzhangzi, which is in a Barremian/Aptian lacustrine shale in the Yixian Formation of China. It is the type species of Sinodelphys.
